Question by ryan: why does my “macbook” pro not get wifi from my verizon wireless modem/router?
I recently got my macbook pro and i already had my modem/router connected to a Windows desktop. I can get a connection using an Ethernet cord, but that’s it.
Airport is on, the model name on it was GT704WG. Its a Wireless DSL Modem/Router. If you need more information, please ask and tell me how to find it.

There could be many reasons:

1. Wireless switch turned off,

2. Airport switched off,

3. Your router may not be wireless enabled at all.
