What does GameTap mean by “Desktop” games? PLEASE RESPOND?

I’m going on a long road trip, and I thought I would like to have a few games to play GameTap on my laptop. But I need to know if I need an Internet connection for the “Desktop” games? Can someone please help me? How now? I need to know really because I leave in less than two days Best Answer:

desktop games is a pretty general category. A desktop is a computer, so I think it depends on the game when they needed an Internet connection. You should see at every game to determine that.
